1) What was your FIRST video game console?
It was the Atari 2600, it used to belong to my uncles, and it was handed down to me. Unfortunately I no longer have it. :(

2) Name a few games you played on said console.
Oh heck, well when I got it,it was during the crash of 84, so I ended up getting tons of games..memorable ones were Adventures of Tron, Tunnel Runner, and Q-Bert

3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
Let's see! I have the NES, SNES,Wii,PS1,PS2,Sega Master System,Sega Mega Drive,Sega Dreamcast.

4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
Hell yes, the years of 92-hell, NOW even have had Street Fighter involved in my gaming. At first I could only really play as the characters that had moves that would come out when buttons are mashed, e.g. Chun-Li or Blanka.. but it's moved on to using characters like Balrog and Dhalsim.

5) Do you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with kickass character designs?
Hm.. Yknow, I'd have to say yes. They have had very different styles/artists and have really made each game feel special in a way, from comical like Son Son, to hot blooded like Muscle Bomber/Saturday Night Slam Masters, to wonderfully stylized like Okami.

6) Here's the scenario.. You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very "greasy." Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal?
Oh god yes! Everyone's gotta use that controller, dont want that nasty grease all over it so someone else has to suffer :(

7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG?
Favorite RPG hands down is Azel:Panzer Dragoon RPG.. Action RPG, probably Zelda: Link To the Past if you can call it that.

8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?
Well... 2D. I dont HATE 3D, but I have an appreciation for sprite art and the evolution of sprite art, which now has moved into 3d polygons faked as 2d *lol* but solid, pixel based 2d art/games will always have a place in my heart.

9) Are you an SNK fan?
Yah! I really liked SNK in it's heyday, and it's making a bit of a comeback.. from Ikari Warriors/Athena/POW to KOF they've always had something I've wanted to play.

9) Are you good at DDR?
Well, I haven't played in a long while, but in my day I could play on 2x speed Heavy difficulty and clear a lot of 9 step songs, so yeah.

10) Who wants to kick that dog's ass from Duck Hunt?
Already did in the arcade version ;)

11) Have you skipped out on important events in life because of video games?
I think I did embarassingly enough.

12) Do you listen to video game music?
no, I just have 34 GB of video game music so I can have a long e-penis. YES I love game music *lol* from 80's/90's arcade soundtracks to the latest game music I am a huge fan.. I particularly love chiptune music and the works of Taito's sound team, Zuntata.

13) Have you ever cosplayed a VG character?
Yes.... Ralf Jones from KOF, and I guess in 4th grade, I was Mario for Halloween.

14) Have you ever been in an arcade playing a fighting game, KICKING ASS, and then some 6 year old Asian kid comes in and OWNS YOU??
Yep, got my ass trounced by some kid playing Xmen vs Street Fighter...

15) Name three games you would love to see remakes of if it was done properly
Strider Hiryu, Osman/Cannon Dancer, Muscle Bomber/Saturday Night Slam Masters

16) Mario or Sonic?
Mario.. the excitement of playing SMB3 on the FC for the first time, seeing prototype pics of Super Mario World taken from the pages of Famicom Tsushin.. didn't feel that same sort of excitement with Sonic..

17) When a movie shows up in the theaters, let's use Spider-man as an example, are you likely to buy the GAME version?
Not particularly, no, unless someone I know has bought it and recommended it.

18) What is your LEAST favorite genre of video games? (ex. fighting, sports, shooters, etc.)
Sports games, specifically Madden, etc... and most FPS type games with a few exceptions.


19) Is there a game out there that you feel was unique and didn't get enough love?
Hard to say! I have a lot games like that, that I seem to like and no one else does, but I'm not sure if that's because I have a crap sense of taste or what *lol*

20) Have you ever verbally abused a game because you couldn't beat one of the levels and/or bosses?
Oh yeah, plenty of times.. pleeeenty of times.

21) Do you own any VG apparel?
Yep, just bought a Fox Hound logo shirt, my prized Ikaruga t-shirt, and countless shirts from my old job.

22) What are your thoughts on the live-action Super Mario Bros movie?
Was amazed it got greenlighted.

23) On that note, what did you think about the live-action Street Fighter movie?
Well.... hey, at least Chage and Aska got their video on MTV!

24) Who's hottest out of the KOF chicks?
Oh we have to go THERE dont we. Toss up between Kula Diamond and Hinako, YES Hinako.

25) Do you say "old-school" a lot when you're having a VG conversation with others?
Well.. yeah, it just kinda ties in.. or I go weaboo and say shit like "natsukashii" so there ya go.

26) Have you ever lent someone a game and they returned it to you damaged?
Fortunately no, I've lost games like that though.

27) Do you own any imported games?
Imports have always been an important part of my gaming collection, so yes.

28) Are you ready for this meme to be over, or could you keep going?

29) In this scenario, let's pretend you're going to get a video game tattoo! What would you get and where?
Well... probably a Fox Hound logo on my arm, not the new one, but the original Fox Hound logo from the MSX Metal Gear games.. or the logo for Zuntata.

30) Have you ever cried after you beat a game? If so why?
I got very weepy eyed at the end of Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater.. the combination of Snake learning about Boss, and the music got me.. it was also 3 in the morning and I was tired.

This is acutally done specifically for the Nintendo Channel on the Wii in Japan... but someone was nice enough to put it on Youtube. :)
